First published in the underground magazine Penumbra #9, this tabled false shuffle of Bolivar J. Bueno's creates an uncanny illusion of the cards being mixed. After seeing Steve Forte execute a legitimate shuffle that ended with the cards being bowed and cascaded together onto the table, BJ sought to develop a false shuffle with a similar appearance. To this end, he has combined two false shuffle techniques and the result is called - The Muy Bueno Shuffle.
So that you can see the illusion you’ll be trying to attain when learning the shuffle, BJ and Wayne Houchin have created a short video teaching you all the nuances that go into mastering this beautiful piece of sleight of hand.
