Chris Webb - Marked

Marked is a brilliant and visual two-card transposition built around the idea of impossibly obvious marked cards. A spectator is shown two cards from the deck, a Joker and an Eight, each boldly “marked” with tape so there can be no confusion. To make everything completely unique, the spectator initials both cards. One card is placed clearly on the table while the other remains in full view. Then, in a wonderfully visual moment, the performer begins rubbing the card and the spectator’s initials seem to appear, followed by the face of the other card, until the entire card has impossibly changed! When the card on the table is turned over, it has changed places as well, the signed Joker and signed Eight have completely transposed. It is direct, funny, easy to follow and incredibly magical, with a strong visual hook and a killer impossible ending!
