A highly deceptive, auto-complete effect.

Spectators freely choose two cards—no forced selection required. The magician explained that there is a special connection between these two cards, allowing them to position each other, then have the audience insert one card face up and the other back up, inserting them into two different positions in the stack. When the magician deals cards one by one, the face-up card will find the face-up card. As a final surprise, the sum of the points of the two accompanying cards exactly equals the sum of the numbers of the pairing positions of the two selected cards.
